Both foreign and domestic performers fulfilled each other and presented a vast variety of blues on a large scale. John Mooney with his secondline guitar playing and T-Model Ford with his jukejoint from the Mississippi delta were like honey for the new wave blues lovers. Manfreds, lead by Paul Jones, pleased the nostalgics with their hit parades. T-Model Ford's visit to Rauma had a historic aspect as well; it was the first visit to Finland by a Fat Possum artist.
