In 1998 Rauma Blues presented the Finnish soul blues lovers the stunning singing acrobatics of Mighty Sam McClain who made a handsome comeback in the 90's

Paul Lamb represented the leading edge of British harpism and Matti Norlin of Swedish guitar magic. Of our domestic acts the most attention was aroused by Charlies, a rock blues pioneer, with its renewed set-up. All foreign artists were in Finland for the first time and since 1998 Rauma Blues has knowingly concentrated on top artists who have not previously performed in Finland.
