Rauma Blues 1987

In 1987 Jyrki "Iiki" Lehti joined the Rauma Blues organization and the group found its most lasting form

A five-day-long event was held in March at Kalliohovi, the ambitious main concert at Rauma's winter sports training center. The Finnish television channel TV 2 broadcasted a 30 minute sample of the event. As far as the performers go, Oiling Boiling Rhythm & Blues Band with Pepe Ahlqvist gave an excellent show as did the world's blues stage veteran Joe Louis Walker with his original style. Unfortunately the high quality of the main concert didn't gather as many audience as the organizers had hoped.
