During its 20 years of history Rauma Blues has evolved into one of the most notable blues festivals in Finland

This position hasn't been a granted one, for there have been many setbacks on the way, some of which at worst have questioned the continuity of the entire event. However, the organizers have never lifted their hands up when facing difficulties. Instead they've tried to learn from them and develop the event piece by piece into the kind of a root music spectacle that the blues lovers all over Finland could take as their own. The goal has been reached: today Rauma Blues is considered one of the leading blues events world wide.
