Since 24 years Rauma Blues has been a vital part of Rauma culture scene. The leading local newspaper Länsi-Suomi  ( West-Finland ) awarded on Nov 30th Rauma Blues with 2009 Cultural Prize as a recognition for its long, high-classed and unselfish work.

During the same week we received another recognition when local radio station Radio Ramona awarded Rauma Blues with ‘The Cultural Act of the Year’ -prize.  This is the first time ever such prize is awarded.

We are very proud for receiving these awards and all the attention.  This will encourage us to continue our work to introduce blues music in all its forms to music loving people in Rauma and nationwide.
